Russia has put transsexual and transgender people on the list of people who no longer qualify for driving licenses.
Just when you thought Russia couldn’t be more ass-backwards, they decided that in an effort to lessen their automobile accidents, they are barring transsexual, transgender, and all other people who they deem as having ‘sexual disorders’ from getting drivers licenses. There is no word on whether they took into the account that they are the birthplace of FUCKING VODKA into their study on auto accidents.
Other ‘sexual disorders’ that were mentioned are fetishism, exhibitionism, and voyeurism, as well as pathological gambling and compulsive stealing.
Personally, I don’t think those first three count, since it’s not like they ask you if you like to watch other people bump uglies on your driving exam. Pathological gambling and compulsive stealing are probably easier to prove, but I would think they would most likely make you a better driver, since you are probably driving quickly towards or away from a bank.

This is obviously another move on Russia’s part to target ‘non-traditional lifestyles’, the promotion of which became illegal in 2013.
I don’t even know what to say about this except that I feel sorry for every person in Russia who doesn’t fit into the mold of what their government appropriates as normal.
