It’s just about time to put away all those dark colors, heavy foundations, and cakey lipsticks in favor of all things Springy and lighter- but there’s a good chance that the cold weather of months past has left your hair dry and unmanageable- and you know what that means. Frizz. AH! Here are 3 products that I’m totally loving for hydrated, shiny locks on any budget.
Smooth N Shine Silk Therapy Critical Repair. These individual packets are perfect to travel with, keep in your guest bathroom, or even in your gym bag. They’re super hydrating, and at around $2 a pop you really can’t go wrong for textured, dry, or frizzy hair.
Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Conditioner. If you’re a fan of argan oil, you’re going to love this conditioner by the people that made it famous. If you’re not already familiar with argan oil, it’s a lightweight oil that hails from North Africa and will change the way your hair feels and looks. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and leaves hair incredibly shiny. This conditioner is infused with the oil, leaving each strand silky smooth and full of life. I love the whole collection together, and I’ve noticed that Moroccanoil is always a hit as a gift because it works for just about every hair type.
Davines Repairing Mask. Let me be honest for a moment here. I had never heard of Davines before their publicist gal reached out to me and said “you really MUST try this.” Normally when a PR girl says that I sort of shrug it off because it’s the job of every publicist to make every product seem amazing… but this time she was right. On the surface it looks like a weird little bucket of greenish slime cream, but by the time it’s worked into your hair and left to sit for about 10 minutes… well, you’re just a new person. It smells good, check. Hair comes out tangle-free, check. Hair is easy to style, check. Hair is still voluminous, check. Hair is mega-insanely-wonder-soft, CHECK. It’s infused with olive oil, which made me nervous about greasy hair initially, but my hair has been perfectly bouncy and shiny for about a week now (I’ve used it for the past 3 hair washes… I might be addicted).
