5 Unusual Ways to Use Moisturizer

Written by Bryce

All sorts of crazy ways to use your regular ole’ bottle of cream.

1. Hair Conditioner. I know it may seem unconventional, but if you’re in a pinch (like on vacation or at the gym), a good body lotion will work just the same as a hair conditioner to add some moisture and detangle.

2. Shaving Cream. Out of shaving cream? Can’t be bothered to pack it? No worries, slather a light body cream on already moist legs (the shower is a great place to do this), and shave away!  Your legs will be silky smooth.

3. Skin Protectant. If you live in a major city like New York or Los Angeles, your skin is constantly coming in contact with pollutants and harmful elements.  A good moisturizer will act as a barrier between your skin and external elements.

4. A Quick Pre-Bronze.  If you just got the call from your girlfriends that you’re heading somewhere fabulous tonight and your legs are a little too pale, don’t sweat it!  Slather on some lotion, and use your blush brush to gently dab face bronzer on.  The lotion will act as the glue to make it stay put without rubbing off on clothes and furniture (yikes!).

5. A Faithful Boyfriend. So your boyfriend is leaving for the summer and you’re afraid he’ll cheat? Don’t despair, pookiebear, send him off with a naked picture of yourself and a bottle of your favorite lotion.
