Written by Bryce

Just in case your salad isn’t posh enough…

Just in case you thought inflation was the icing on the recession cake, you were wrong. Extra virgin olive oil for 600 Euros is. If your $12 lunch salad just isn’t fancy enough, try beefing it up Golden Olive Oil from Croatia- a bottle of gold flake-infused oil that will dress your greens to the hilt (or at least to the $100 level).

In our desire to promote high quality and authentic Croatian products, we have created Golden Olive Oil – a limited edition series of exquisitely packaged award winning extra virgin olive oil from the Croatian island of Hvar, infused with edible gold flakes. Golden Olive Oil is a luxurious gourmet product intended for food decoration and a hedonistic gastro-experience. It adds a final touch to beautifully prepared meals, sweets, soups and other foods, and stands out as a unique present or decorative element.

Upon purchase, the client also receives an ownership card identifying the unique number assigned to each product. This card entitles its owner to special privileges — the possibility of purchasing a refill bottle of Golden Olive Oil without the luxurious wooden casing.

All items used in the assembly of this product were handmade by 12 Croatian craftsmen. It takes a total of 120 hours to manufacture each individual product. The Golden Olive Oil series is produced in a limited edition of 444 pieces. The price of each Golden Olive Oil product is 600 Euro.
