Travel Spotting: The Half Dome Hike at Yosemite National Park

Written by Gary

Are you a thrill seeker? Does the prospect of an adventure make you smoisten your smanties? Do you often kick off your heels in favor of a trek through the wilderness? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I think we should explore the Half Dome hike at Yosemite National Park.

The last 400 vertical feet of the Half Dome is so steep that the park staff had to install cables to make the climb possible. On the website they give instructions like “wear grippy shoes”, “don’t guzzle coffee before the climb”, and “if you slip you will probably fall to your death”.

I don’t know about you, but this definitely sounds like an adventure I would like to take.
