Obviously, we here at The Luxury Spot love our desserts, but I’m going to try and help you out with your lofty health-related 2013 resolutions. Maybe your resolution is to eat breakfast instead of merely a latte in the morning. Here is a great example of food that is not only solid, but also fits right in with a clean eating routine. Ingredients:
1 cup [vanilla] almond milk – or any type milk you prefer
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup original quinoa
1/4 cup red quinoa – or total of 1 cup original
2 cups fresh blackberries – or blueberries, raspberries, etc.
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
3 teaspoons agave nectar – if avoiding sugar, you can substitute for stevia
2-3 tablespoons shredded coconut
