The Golden Globes seemed to have a retro undercurrent this year. Take a moment out of your newly adopted routine of dreaming about wearing Kate Hudson’s black and gold McQueen dress, and reminisce on unretouched Polaroids and old Hollywood wavy tresses.
Somewhere in between exiting the stage and entering press rooms, stars found themselves in a narrow hallway being photographed by photographer Lucas Michael and his Polaroid camera. Apparently, the Polaroid Big Shot is the same one that Andy Warhol used in the 70s and hasn’t been in production since.
Along with old school cameras came old school hair. I’m pretty sure everyone’s hairstylist made a retro-wave pact before the show.
