You can ask anyone who has ever been to my apartment, I am constantly in my underwear. That being said, wearing your underwear in an elevator building with central heat/air in the Financial District of Manhattan, and running around the streets in the dead of February weather wearing nothing but a thong are two different things entirely. Still, for the right reason I would definitely sport my tighty-whiteys out in public, and fighting Neurofibromatosis is definitely a worthy cause.
Cupid’s Undie Run is the nation’s largest organized underwear run, that doubles as a benefit for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. The run is just under a mile, and this year in NYC (February 15th) the Cupids’s Undie Run hopes to raise more than $3 million for the research of Neurofibromatosis (NF). So if you are looking for something cool to do on Valentines weekend that doesn’t involve sitting around eating chocolate and crying, this is definitely an event worth checking out. I can count on one hand the truly great Valentines Days I have had (Hiking in DC, and being snowed-in upstate) so I might actually check this event out myself!
Not to mention, there will be guys there wearing nothing but underwear. Win-win.
