And did you know that the largest of all the anteater species, the Giant Anteater, reaches up to eight feet in length (nose tip to tail) when fully grown? It’s true!

Most species of anteaters live in Central and South America, and all anteater species evolved powerful digging forearms, long tongues, and toothless, tube-like snouts. Ya know, to feast on ants. Did you know their tiny mouths have absolutely no teeth?

It’s true! Their claws are still strong, powerful and a bit scary, though.
