We’re counting down the minutes of 2009 basically, and there’s something I need to get off my chest. I think it was an awful year in beauty trends, especially in the celebrity department. Here’s my list of things I’d like to see retired. Forever.
- Lip injections. They look disgusting.
- Cat eyes. Very few women can pull this off well. If you’re Elizabeth Hurley, by all means, please continue. The rest of the crowd typically has been using the wrong eyeliner, bad technique, and so much foundation on their skin that it’s hard to even focus on the eyes anyway.
- Fake tanning. The Long Island/Jersey Shore look is NEVER appropriate unless you’re going to a Halloween event.
- Pencil-thin eyebrows. If I even have to explain this one to you, you’re a lost soul.
It was hard to focus and read this (short) piece: my eyes kept on going further down, hypnotized by the jaw-dropping picture 🙂
*gag…* that picture is priceless. LOL
I so hope that was from a Halloween Event… eeek… she isn’t real is she?
So both Cholas and HouseWives of OC will be giving up some things this year..
