Today’s weird medicine: Relieve stress on the go with a Swedish taxi psychotherapist.

A taxi service in Stockholm is trying something new when it comes to travel by offering free psychotherapy for its passengers. The three-week initiative, started by Taxi Stockholm is geared towards helping people by putting three licensed psychologists in the back seats of cabs.

Obviously the psychologists have to be flexible since the time of each ride varies, but research has shown that cab rides are a great time for reflection, and that even a short amount of self-reflection with a licensed aid is better than nothing.

I think New York should seriously consider this, especially given the amount of tired, strung out straight girls working their manicures to the bone for PR companies that don’t appreciate them.

If I ever end up in the back seat with a psychologist though, I am honestly a little worried that they might need therapy after. I have stories, people. I have seen things that I can never unsee.
