Easiest Flower Cocktail Recipe EVER

Written by Bryce

Possibly the easiest flower cocktail recipe ever, the Absolut Red Carpet.

Aside from being utterly gorgeous, the ingredients in what I consider to be the easiest flower cocktail EVER (of all time, okay?) are completely delish and easy to scoop up just about anywhere. And no, you don’t have to use an orchid… feel free to throw in whatever fresh, clean flowers you’ve got.

ABSOLUT Red Carpet

Glass: Coupe (or something with a wide mouth to let the aromas waft right up to your brain without any interference)

Difficulty: Easy (can you pour? that’s really the only necessary skill here)

Ingredients:

  • 1.5oz Absolut
  • 1oz blood orange juice or puree
  • .5oz triple sec
  • .5oz lime

Prep:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an edible orchid. See? I told you it was the easiest ever. Like, pouring and shaking are the only required skills here. Boom, you’re an artisan cocktail maker.

Side note, if you’re interested in giving yourself a reason to drink this, you’ll likely enjoy our health benefits of vodka post that we published a while back. Because if it doesn’t make it into your glass, “Vodka, when applied to your face or hair, can work wonders to improve the health of your skin and hair. It will tighten the pores of your skin, but first it will cleanse them like a strong astringent. It’s great for killing off acne bacteria, and it will help to cleanse and tone your skin. You can use it in your hair to get rid of dandruff or any infections of the scalp.” You’re welcome. Happy weekend.
