Not only were there fabulous gowns at the MET Costume Institute Gala, but there were also fabulous hair styles. One hair style in particular was Kate Hudson’s elegant, yet flirty, but not too coiffed style that was full of body and texture. The inspiration for Kate’s hairstyle created by David Babaii, was a spent sun-bathing in San Tropez. David Babaii used Living Proof Full to give Kate’s fine, limp blonde hair a thicker feel. To activate the ingredients of the product, David Babaii rubbed the product between his fingers and applied it from root to shaft. He then rough-dried the entire head to add additional volume. Babaii then created a side part and formed a braid along the side of her face. He gathered all of Kate’s hair back into the low bun at the nape of the neck, pulling the braid back with the rest, creating a sexy cool up-do.
