Ingredients

  • 1 whole Brie cheese wheel (should be fresh, standard size around 7″ in diameter but you can see what your supermarket has on hand and adjust accordingly)
  • 2 tbsp high-quality honey
  • 1/4 cup spiced nuts (OMG these are so good and under $3/pakage with free shipping)
  • 6 whole fresh figs cut into quarters
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 box Milton’s Gourmet Olive Oil and Sea Salt Crackers

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature is ideal for gently melting the Brie without overheating it.
  • Spray a baking dish that’s slightly larger than your Brie wheel with nonstick spray or your favorite extra virgin olive oil. Place your cheese wheel in the center. We love this affordable ceramic baking dish set that’s easy to clean.
  • Bake the Brie for about 10 to 12 minutes or until it becomes gooey and melted. Keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn’t overcook. Gooey is the goal!
  • While the Brie is baking, prepare your serving board by arranging crackers around the edge.
  • Using an oven mitt, carefully remove the Brie from the oven and place it on the serving board. While it is still hot, top it with the sliced figs and spiced nuts. The warmth of the Brie will slightly soften the figs and nuts, enhancing their flavors.
  • Drizzle the honey generously over the top of the Brie and figs, adding a sweet and glossy finish. If you love sweets, add a little extra. Garnish with your fresh rosemary sprigs to add a touch of color and a hint of aromatic flavor. The warmth of the cheese brings out the rosemary’s natural essential oils.
  • Serve immediately. It should be gooey as your guests dig in!
