HONESTLY. Even if you don’t think you can pull off this edgy look, give a girl props for taking the plunge in to rockstar status. This installment’s applause goes to Selita Ebanks, for giving her sleek look shot of edge. Her look, crafted by the brazen beauty hands of Jamie Sanchez and Marshall Lin of Frederic Fekkai Soho, can be achieved at home with ease.  The experts weigh in:  “Most people make the mistake of getting their color done before they receive their haircut,” says colorist Jamie Sanchez, “as a result the color gets cut out and impacts the appearance of both the color and the haircut.

Try it at home by sectioning your hair into two layers, top and bottom parting at the crown. Keep the under layer dark for definition, depth & an illusion of thickness,  with the top section blonde. We say: stick to Fekkai’s products available online and at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus or Saks for the works.

Would you have the beauty balls to try this look??
