There’s no denying it, big doe eyes are sexy, flirty and far easier to achieve and fake than you think. I mean who wouldn’t want to look like they are fascinated with everything they see? Here are some of my tips to enhance those peepers and maintain a look of shock and amazement all day long.
1. If you read this blog regularly than you already know that light shadow make your eyes pop, while dark shadow makes the eye look smaller. BUT, layering and blending a silver or gold shadow (depending on your color sceme) at the corners of your eyes will still attain the big doe-eyed look you’re going for.
2. There’s no such thing as too much mascara as long as it’s a good one. I highly recommend DiorShow New Look. Start with the tips of your lashes to fan them out, and don’t neglect the hairs in the corner of your eyes. Wait a minute and then apply to the base of your lashes. And don’t neglect your bottom lid. Think Twiggy.
3. Another trick I picked up was applying an illuminator down the bridge of my nose. I’m not sure why this works, but it does for me. Try it!
4. Apply a slightly lighter concealer to the circles around your eyes. Not only will you look instantly fresh, but your eyes will look bigger.
