I have known about Mara Hoffman for the past few years, and have been wishing for that one day where I will own something in which her name is on the label. Mara Hoffman is a New York based fashion designer, who studied at Parsons the New School for design. She hand-dyes her couture pieces and uses luxurious textures such as silk and cashmere, making her designs not your average nylon bathing suits. Summer is right around the corner ladies, let these images of Mara Hoffman’s masterpiece be at least bikini body inspiration!
She is a designer of true, and pure talent. She does not simply design a bathing suit. In fact, it would probably be rude to address these pieces as just “swim suits” in her presence. They are stunning creations. Hoffman pulls her inspiration from nature, world travel, luxury, and fantasy. If you are lucky enough to own one of her pieces by this summer, you should be very, very grateful!
