A Little Staycation Kit For Your Casa

Written by Bryce

In the event that Saturn passing through Scorpio has you totally frazzled and over-stressed (here’s looking at you, every Aries ever), you’re probably going to want to plan a little time-out-and-unwind day in the privacy of your own home sometime very soon, or even immediately. The key is to set up a relaxing environment that’ll transport you to some distant, exotic, no stress kind of place… we’ll call it “Apartment Antigua” or “Casa Colombia.” Turn off your phone, disconnect your wife, and lock your door… here’s what you’ll need for a peaceful solo day:

1. L’Occitane’s Almond Supple Skin Oil. It smellls like heaven, can be added to warm bath water or applied after a steamy shower, and will keep you hydrated like no other. I happen to love slathering it on my feet and covering with cotton socks for a movie night, or using it as massage oil. Totally divine.

2. The Final Season of No Reservations. Ah, Anthony Bourdain, how I love thee. This final season DVD kit is the perfect solution to escaping the walls of your apartment or house (anywhere it may be), will treat you to gross and new experiences from the comfort of your couch, and will encourage you to try new concoctions of weird things from your pantry. There’s no loss, really.

3. Elizabeth Grant’s Black Algae Mask. Nothing says “relaxing time at home” like a good face mask, and I’m a total sucker for this one made with black algae by Elizabeth Grant. It hydrates like a champ, cools, tightens, and frankly… it looks pretty official when your face is covered in a deep, dark algae.

4. Pour yourself a good rum drink. Try our Peg Leg Punch or Frozen Cherry Mojitos… seriously.
