Different from banal fashion photography Annemarieke Van Drimmelen’s beautiful pictures tell more about the girl than the clothes they wear. Annemarieke Van Drimmelen began her career as a model at first and then debuted a photo exhibition, hosted by Vogue. Of her work she said, “With my photos I try to show the personality of the models more than what they cantransform into.” Van Drimmelen wanted to blur the line between documentary and fashion portraiture. “I try and let go of any idea I have of how the moment should look like when I’m shooting,” she says. “That’s when the picture seems to come alive.”‘
