Teeth are a pretty great accessory to have. Nothing ruins a bold red lip moment, or any moment for that matter, faster than less-than-pearly teeth. 1. Eat a ton of fruit. You can basically buy whitening toothpaste at farmers markets, and when I say whitening toothpaste, I mean fruit. Strawberries, apples, pears, and orange peels, to be exact. They contain acids that oxidize stains from your teeth, so eat up!
2. Drink out of a straw. This is an excellent budget-savvy teeth whitening tip that makes a world of difference. When you don’t use straws, all the liquid you drink is passing over your teeth, and if it’s not water or another light/clear liquid, it’s going to leave stains in its tracks. Maybe you’re not into using straws when drinking red wine. That’s fine – you can apply a thin layer of Vaseline to your teeth prior to imbibing. It’ll help ward off stains.
3. Just use a whitening product. Personally, I can’t be bothered with any sort of “white strip.” My teeth get sensitive and the strips move around and feel gross – then you start to taste the whitening gel. Ew.
