Beauty Spotting: Acai Extracts

Written by Bryce

Juicy beauty goodness

Acai is the Brazilian superfruit that’s changed the entire antioxidant game. A few years ago the world was all “hey! blueberries will make you beautiful!” but now the world is all “hey, I found a way more awesome berry from the Amazon!” It’s packed with antioxidants to prevent free radicals from making you look like an old hag, and that’s something to get excited about, frankly.

1. Tarte Stain, $30. It’s got real acai extracts and all that juicy color that’s sure to make your cheeks and lips downright irresistible. Try a dab between your cleavage, too, for a little color contrast that’ll make your boobs look just a smidgen bigger.

2. Upper Canada Watermelon With Acai Dry Body Oil Spray. If you’re too lazy do use a moisturizer and a perfume separately when you get out of the shower each morning- that’s more or less okay. This body spray will seal in moisture and has a scent vibrant enough to last all day.

3. Nature’s Gate Acai Body Lotion, $7. It’s light, effective, and scented just enough to keep you smelling mildly sweet all day (without overpowering the dude in the cubicle next door). I happen to love this one for arms, legs, and shoulders because it moisturizes without any of the greasy stuff that most lotions leave.

4. VITACARE Acai Gum, $1.79. Less than $2 for potentially the most exotic flavor your tongue will ever touch (unless of course you’re THAT kind of girl). None of the junk in here, either. You’ll smell better, taste better, and avoid all the harmful chemicals that other gums tend to use.

5. Bite Beauty Balm, $18. I carry this little magical fix it around in my bag everywhere. It gently exfoliates, tastes like a dream, and can solve cuticle and eyebrow malfunctions in a pinch as well!
