Beauty Spotting: Light Conditioning

Written by Ashley

In the quest for silky-not-greasy tresses, we women have to be extraordinarily careful with what we put on our hair. I’m a huge fan of rich, deep conditioning treatments once a week (Sunday is my preferred day, thank you very much), but during the hot-as-heck days of summer we’re all likely to wash our hair at least a few times a week. Or at least I hope so. Using oily products more than once a week will leave your hair smooth, but flat as a pancake, and that’s just not cute. I’ve been alternating my Moroccan Oil treatments with Milbon’s Silky Luxe treatment.

This treatment was developed in Japan to keep hair smooth, lightly fragrant, and light. For a girl like myself, it’s especially great for keeping waves bouncy and vibrant for a couple days at a time even in the hot, humid NYC summer air.
