The best baby pink nail polish options, hands down.
When I’m not busy doing in depth nail polish looks like these OTT galaxy nails, I like to take a break with something a little more subtle. When a subtle look is key, I always go for sheer baby pink nails. I have high demands of my pink nail polishes though. They must be great quality, long lasting, and most importantly the perfect shade of adult worthy pink. No bubble gum nails in sight!
The best way to wear baby pink nails
The key to wearing baby pink nails as an adult? Make sure there is a sandy toned hint. Cool, blue toned, pastel baby pinks feel really tired at the moment. This dreamy barely there pink is a personal favorite right now, made even better with the super subtle glitter throughout. This polish is the ILNP polish in Birthday Suit. ILNP calls this cashmere pink which makes me feel like a much fancier lady than Birthday Suit, and would look KILLER as the base of your pink quartz nails look.
The closest we’re getting to a ’90s baby pink is this Essie polish in Sheer Fantasy. It’s just sheer enough to keep you from looking like you raided your middle school nail polish caboodle.
Smith and Cult make gorgeous luxury nail polish. Just look at that cap! It’s a work of art. The shade Pillow Pie has enough of a coral hint to make this tricky color much more wearable. You can easily use this shade as an alternative base to your Carrera marble nails, too.
A cult favorite for years is Essie Mademoiselle. This is a particularly sheer polish for baby pink nails. It’s more of a milky pink wash of color over your nails and looks great when you don’t have the longest of talons.
In a similar vein is China Glaze Innocence. This is more pigmented than Mademoiselle, which is great if you don’t want to do four coats of polish to get a totally opaque base. FYI, any baby pink nail polish is a dream next to these gorgeous alternative wedding bands.
Butter London’s Piece of Cake has a wonderful peachy hint, and is a bit darker than many of the other picks on this list. This feels more like a summer polish over some of the more sheer options above.
In stark contrast is Deborah Lippmann’s polish in Baby Love. This is the most sheer, milky, barely there pink of them all. If we wanted a realistic baby pink, this is the one.
SpaRitual’s polish in Harmony has a mauve undertone making it a great pick for those of us with cooler skin tones. This is also a vegan polish!
Cuccio Color is known for their high quality polish. Their shade selection isn’t to be missed either! The shade On Sale is the perfect baby pink polish for every skin tone.
