Beware of Side Effects: Whiplash

Having curly hair sucks when don’t have the right products to style you hair.  I know first hand how frizz can make you look like you stuck your finger in an electrical socket and how dry your hair can look if your moisturizer isn’t moisturizing.  Recently, I began using these products made specifically for women of curly hair — all types, and the compliments have been coming left and right.  I’ve shaken my hair and neck so much, I’ve developed a serious case of whiplash.  In addition you might also find yourself with little or no friends as your hair will be the envy of all your friends.  Hmmm…I could take that.

Here’s the secret recipe:

Step 1: begin with the Pure Curls Clarifying Shampoo.  Its extremely thick and concentrated, so just apply about a quarter size amount and that will do the trick.  This will help take away all those useless products you applied before, ridding the hair from unwanted chemicals, build up and anything else that kept weighing your, soon to be beautiful, curls down.

Step 2: proceed with the Coconut Sublime Conditioner.  Like the shampoo, the consistency is very thick and it smells DELICIOUS!  I usually apply a lot of conditioner  halfway up from my ends, since that’s where my hair looks like a jungle from all the crazy entanglement.  I have a lot of hair but you can use your discretion in regards to how much you should be applying.

Step 3: after the condition, spritz Quenched Curls Moisturizer.  You should apply this always before styling.  It will help lock in the moisture from the conditioner.  The best thing about this product is that it can be used on dry or damp hair.  It’s great as a pre-styling product and also as a refresher for your hair when you’re on the go.

Step 4: Style with their Whipped Cream.  I like to use this after my hair is completely dry.  Its great for re-curling little frizzies or strays, as I call them.  Its great because its very light on your hair and doesn’t dampen the hair so much.  I hate when you style your hair dry and then you apply a product that makes it look like just that section is wet! Well don’t worry this won’t do that.
