Listed for a cool $38 million, Boston’s most expensive penthouse apartment features over 7,800 square feet of living space on the 58th floor.

If you enjoyed the recent sneak peeks at Scott Bessent’s Charleston mansion and this Tudor-style castle but want to see something a bit more modern, this nearly-new stunner is sure to please. Boston’s most expensive penthouse apartment is listed for a cool $38,000,000—so buckle up for a ride through fantasy land.

“Boston’s most luxurious penthouse offering is a seamless combination of two of Dalton’s premiere units wrapping two corners of the building,” begins the listing for 1 Dalton Street in Boston, Massachusetts.

Built in 2020, this gorgeous combination of units 5801 and 5802 spans the entire 58th floor. And with that type of height, expect loads of light, bright rooms, views for days and maybe some nosebleeds.

This five-bedroom home also boasts 6.5 bathrooms and over 7,800 square feet of living space.

“An exquisite full renovation was completed by the Lagasse Group in 2022 and is ready for immediate occupancy.”

The furniture, which we mostly love (the bedrooms are downright dreamy), is optional with the sale.

“A total renovation of the space includes a spectacular white Onyx primary kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, breakfast bar with captivating views and easy access to the home’s informal dining and family room.”

“A jaw-dropping formal living room offers an Art Deco-inspired wall of glass that opens to a formal dining room, temperature controlled wine room and access to a fully equipped catering kitchen.”

You read that correctly. There’s a whole second kitchen just for the staff. And it’s nicer than most normal kitchens in Boston apartments—take a look for yourself.

But really, look at these bedrooms! They’re so high in the sky that they’re basically living in dreamy, sleepy clouds. And yes, we did consult with our in-house astrologer, Dana Carlebin, to ask if she felt like the bedrooms were properly aligned for astrological goodness.

She told us, “These are the most perfect Pisces and Cancer bedrooms I’ve ever seen. Soft, ethereal colors and dreamy views are some of the best Pisces gifts in the world. If you can afford 38 million cool ones, I guess.”

By the way, if you have the kind of cash sitting around, you should definitely check out the most expensive house in Rhode Island, which is basically begging for you to own it as a vacation property.

But the most impressive room for us, by far, is the bold pink-and-white formal dining room that looks like it could’ve been designed as part of a Barbie Dream House on more sophisticated steroids.

“Solid white oak flooring throughout, stately moldings, custom millwork, six full marble-clad baths with radiant heat, a fully integrated A/V system with surround sound, comprehensive Lutron lighting system, automatic shades and blackouts,” complete the experience at this Boston mansion in the sky.

“And you get 24-hour Four Seasons Hotel services,” just for living in the building. Which makes sense, because the monthly condo maintenance fees are over $25,000 per month. We’re serious.

Oh, and bring your coolest cars. It comes with four deeded parking spots.
