Appropriately located in Bangkok, Thailand, the Cabbages and Condoms restaurant is an eatery focused on raising safe sex awareness by using condoms in almost every facet of the decor. Damn it Asia, you have done it again.
Founded by a politician/family planning activist named Mechai Viravaidya (aka Mr. Condom. Literally), Cabbages and Condoms is located right next to an abortion clinic, so when young girls get their uterine hellscape flushed clean they can meet the girls for post-abortion snacks and cocktails.
The goal here is to make create a loud conversation about a taboo subject, which I totally get. Plus its the perfect place to take a date, since they give you condoms at the end of your meal in lieu of dinner mints.
