Cardboard Comforter Set is Homeless Chic

Written by Bryce

There’s nothing like sleeping under cardboard to make you feel stylish.

Leave it to the Dutch to design a line of comforters made to look exactly like a bunch of flattened boxes.  The company, Le Clochard,  designed the “Snurk” line to mimic the average homeless person’s sleeping situation.  Proceeds from sales benefit homeless Dutch youth.  Some small part of me wonders if the Olsen twins sleep on these.

  • At first I blush this concept seems incredibly insensitive, until I read about how sales go on to benefit actual homeless people. Very creative way to raise awareness of a problem faced by thousands in any city.

  • I’m sorry but being a born & bred native NY’er I had to LOL at that bedding set! Homelessness is a very serious issue but you haven’t “seen everything” until you have seen a cardboard box home on Park Avenue. Literally on Park Avenue. (-;
