I don’t watch sports. I don’t eat junk food. I don’t drink beer. So the Super Bowl did not entice me. I only watched the half-time performance and it was ah-mazing.
First of all, her body is ridiculous. I can’t believe a baby came out of it. Second of all the black leather and lace dress was gorgeous, and remember how she threw her leather jacket to the audience? Whoever caught that is one lucky person.
The special effects from the mirror to the screen with multiple Beyoncé’s dancing behind her, and the ring of fire and the outline of her face and her beautiful long hair was crazy. It was more of a concert than a performance with all of the fire, ice and smoke.The balance of old and new songs was well discussed, she had the classics like “Single Ladies” “Halo” and “Crazy in Love” but introduced new songs such as “Love on Top” and “End of Time.” I think it was really nice of her to have Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland (who also looked so gorgeous) to join her in singing some Destiny’s Child classics.
