I am religiously counting down to the premier of Girls season 2, and I don’t even have HBO. Lena Dunham is everything, and in the words of Notorious B.I.G., if you don’t know, now you know. You should start following her and her endeavors, if you haven’t already. She’s essentially the antidote to body image issues. In January’s issue of V Magazine, she will be featured in a shoot by Terry Richardson. Simply put, it doesn’t get much cooler than that.
Expect her to discuss such issues as eating cake for breakfast and dinner before the Emmy Awards and still looking better than expected, being freed from the prison of a world that’s all about Hollywood good-looks, and getting free clothes from designers sent to her in non-sample sizes. I think I resolve to live 2013 Lena Dunham-style, minus the free designer clothes.
