We loved Daisy Ridley’s hair look for the red carpet premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Tokyo. Here’s how to nail it:

Celebrity hairstylist Robert Vetica created a gorgeous s-wave hairstyle for Daisy Ridley that he describes as “chic, modern, fresh, and ageless.”

“The hair look always has to start with the clothes,” said Vetica. And since the look was a Chanel Couture dress from the 20s, he went with a, “fresh spin on the 1920’s Chanel flapper” for inspiration. To match the carefree, liberated spirit associated with the flapper, Vetica wanted to match the look with a “very youthful and fun” hairstyle.

“Daisy was very open to different beauty ideas,” said Vetica, and with such openness comes lots of possibility. To begin, Vetica applied Leonor Greyl Mousse Au Lotus Volumatrice to wet hair so that “the hair does not fall flat to her head and lose its unique shape.”

With a medium-sized round boar bristled brush, Vetica then blew her hair dry (with a firm grip so that you can really sculpt the hair, he emphasizes).

“I then took a 3Ž4 inch curling iron, curling just the ends of the hair using mild-medium heat. I sprayed each section with Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle Heat Protecting Styling Spray to protect the hair and add hold to the shape I would be creating with the iron,” he explains.

Looks easy enough to get Daisy Ridley’s hair now, right? Go try it and tweet your pics at @luxuryspot so we can see!
