Decor Spotting: DIY Doily Lantern

Written by Gary

Lighting is single-handedly one of the most important elements to the design of a room. Unfortunately, awesome lighting fixtures can sometimes cost an arm, a leg, and an entire room’s budget. DIY projects can sometimes yield great results with lighting, especially if you are handy with a glue-gun and know your way aroudn a pair of scissors.

This gorgeous hand-made Doily lantern costs less than $50 dollars to make and only requires a few hours of your time. Similar store-bought lanterns sell for upwards of $800. For complete instructions, click here.
