Written by Bryce

Diaper rash cream can treat lots of skin issues- who knew?

Whether you’ve had your own baby or just been around a few tubes of diaper rash cream in your day, you might be surprised to know that it does more than just heal little baby tushies– the active ingredient, zinc oxide, can actually treat and prevent a host of nasty skin issues. The moral of the story is keep a tube handy, whether you own a diaper bag or not.

1. Dab some on acne. Zinc oxide in diaper rash creams can actually shrink zits and prevent new ones. Dab some on at night and by morning you’ll notice improvement!

2. Have your own rash? Maybe it’s a mild allergy to a wool sweater, a perfume, or something else– whatever it is, there’s a good chance diaper rash cream can help clear it up.

3. Prone to sunburn? Diaper rash cream’s potent zinc oxide works as a strong sun protection agent. It’s safe for adults and little ones alike, so dab some on the bridge of your nose and other areas you might need an extra dose of protection.

4. Dandruff and dry patches. Zinc oxide has shown great results in attacking fungal issues on the skin. Dab a little on a problem area 2-3 times a day for a week or so and watch for improvement.

5. Mild burns. From mild kitchen burns to exercise-related rug burns, diaper rash cream can help!

6. Athlete’s foot. In-the-shoe drama no more, spread some diaper rash cream between toes, on soles, and over toenails twice a day for two weeks for great results.
