Do You Fango?

Written by Corinne

After experiencing almost instant results (and Fernando), I do!

When a product has been around for 25 years, you know it’s gonna work. Borghese’s Fango – Active Mud for Face and Body, is one beauty product that has stood the test of time. Fango celebrated its 25th anniversary at the renowned home of CEO Georgette Mosbacher. The event was complete with the unveiling of the Borghese’s new National Advertising Campaign, “Do You Fango?”, Fango Mango cocktails (delish, I’m telling you), samples of the various types of Fango, and even one of the models featured in the ad campaigns was there (he was delish too).

The new ad campaign Georgette unveiled features a man and a woman shot with “Do You Fango?” written in the green-hued mud on different parts of their bodies (above). The use of the male model in shots was specifically geared towards showing how Fango is not only a product for women, but men too. I was lucky enough to meet this certain male model, Fernando, myself.

Besides getting up close to Fernando, I was also able to learn and experience the detoxifying and nourishing qualities of Fango. Consisting of five different muds, all of which contain Italian mud from Tuscany this collection is also filled with nourishing minerals, natural botanicals and Borghese’s exclusive Acqua di Vita Complex.

On one of my hands the original Fango (dark green) was applied. Borghese Beauty expert, Jan, explained that this Fango eliminates dead skin cells, unclogs pores and detoxifies impurities. After 3 minutes the mud was removed and revealed brighter, restored skin on my hand! Jan then told me, “Imagine the difference when you leave it on for 10 minutes!”

Safe to say I will Fango each and every part of my bod - thank you Borghese!
