Would You Drink Your Sunscreen?

Drinkable sunscreen claims to offer 97% UVA protection.

We know that it’s crazy important to wear sunscreen on a daily basis. Not only will it save your skin in the long run, but it will also protect your current health. So while you’re on the beach this summer, make sure you’re applying and re-applying that SPF.

But what if you didn’t have to rub on that sunscreen? What if you only had to chase your margarita with a little bit of SPF water? Osmosis Skincare’s UV Neutralizer Harmonized Water is said to be equivalent of wearing an SPF 30 and will protect you from 97% of UVA and UVB rays for up to three hours. The water molecules just below your skin will vibrate (you won’t be able to feel it though) and it should emit frequencies that cancel out the burn causing frequencies. I think that means that you are one big radio-wave.

Time had reached out to the company to see some of their findings. Apparently, there were no real clinical trials. They rounded up 50 people and tested them for an extended period of time. Other dermatologists are really skeptical because there is no real supporting evidence to their claims.
