Dry Skin Solutions: From Cheeks to Cuticles

Written by Linda

My latest list of dry-skin solutions!

There’s no denying it. Colder weather is on its way.  And while others might be appreciating the changing foliage… as soon as I feel the drying artificial heat come on I’m on the hunt for new ways to keep my skin moist. Needless to say, I’m not a cold weather fan.

Anyway—thankfully, I found three terrific products to seal in your skin’s moisture this season.

Vichy USA Aqualia Thermal Serum: Designed for sensitive skin my skin drinks in this serum with no oily or greasy after effects.  Unlike a lot of products you feel sit on top of your skin, this one really penetrates.  It goes on really wet and sinks in completely. [$29.50 VichyUSA.com]

MyChelle Cream Foundation: Great especially for those who love mineral makeup but want something with a little more moisture for the dryer months.  MyChelle’s cream foundation and blush both come in a stick and are so much more convenient and easier to use on the go than other mineral makeups which can be a mess if you’re trying to apply them while on the run. [ Foundation $25.89 MyChelle.com//Blush $20.89 MyChelle.com]

CND Snuggle Set: An absolutely delicious way to quench thirsty skin from CND, this gift set makes a fantastic gift.  The star of this set for me is the almond hydrating lotion.  It really smells edible.  It says for the hands but I’ve used on my body too at night.  It just smells so good!  The set also comes with solar oil nail and cuticle conditioner to keep your nails from getting dry and brittle and a pair of cozy pedi-socks to pamper your feet after a long day in heels.  [$20.90 CND.com for salons & beauty supply stores]
