Australian fashion label, Suboo, was launched in 2007 as a lifestyle accessories brand and quickly reached cult status with the support of devotees of the luxury lifestyle brand from all around the world. Personally, I looked through the entire look-book and couldn’t find one piece that wasn’t absolutely perfect. The collection is very feminine, and designed in a way that appreciates and flatters a women’s body.
The dresses she designed feature either high appealing necklines, to low open one’s, as well as low-cut backs, making the aesthetic of the brand very sexy, yet comfortable, moveable, and wearable.
The successful designer paved the way into women’s beachwear and Spring/Summer apparel and accessories. Suboo has evolved into a multinational label designed for women who have moved beyond the surf labels of their teens seeking a more stylish label to love.
Designer, Sue Di Chio, launched the brand’s first swimwear and ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 2012/13 collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2012 to international critical acclaim.
“Whether by the sandy shore, drinking cocktails on a lawn, weekend wine touring or gallery exploring, our Spring/Summer collections translate the complexities of high fashion into the every day,” says Sue Di Cho. “Suboo is synonymous for clean lines, original bright prints and understated wearable silhouettes offering kaftans, dresses, tops, pants, capes, swimwear and beach accessory designs that compliment both the Northern and Southern hemisphere summer lifestyles”.
Worn by Australia’s leading ladies like Dannii Minogue, Miranda Kerr, Delta Goodrem, Jesinta Campbell, Nikki Phillips, Zoe Balbi, Casey Burgess and many more, Suboo has developed a cult following among celebrities and the fashion industry. The brand will be showcasing for the second year at Miami Swim Show in July 2012, launching the ready-to-wear and swimwear collection for the first time to the already enthusiastic US market.
