Father and Son Makeup Portraits are Totally Fierce

Family makeup portraits: an aspiring teenage makeup artist gave his parents amazing makeovers.

I never really got that much into makeup even as a young gay boy. I was lucky enough to have a mother who supported my gayness whole-heartedly though, so it warms my heart when I read stories like this of parents supporting their kids’ passions — especially when it comes to something as fiercely female as makeup.

Spencer Claus, a 16-year-old aspiring makeup artist gave both of his parents makeovers for both Father’s and Mother’s days, and posted the results to social media. It initially started out as a joke, but both him and his parents received a lot of love via Twitter and Instagram for their message of love and acceptance. Aside from Spencer obviously knowing his way around a matte sanguine lipstick, we applaud his entire family for being eager participants in their son’s joy.
