Named “Best New Vodka†by Food & Wine Magazine in 2009 and winner of the Double Gold Medal at the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Prairie Organic Vodka is a world-class vodka that uses the fewest natural resources possible to create a beautifully smooth flavor for you to kosher, organic folk to enjoy!
Prairie Organic Vodka is crafted in Benson, Minnesota by a fifth-generation family of spirit makers and a co-op of over 900 farmers. This vodka is micro-distilled exclusively from organic, #2 yellow corn that just happens to be grown nearby the distillery on three family farms. What happens to the leftover corn cobs? Well, they are gasified to provide energy for the stills.
Made by Phillips Distilling Company, Prairie Organic Vodka is one of a handful of spirits that is certified kosher by The Orthodox Union and organic by the USDA. Prairie requires that the entire process, from the field all the way to the shelf, be completely free of synthetic chemicals, pesticides and genetically modified seeds and enzymes.
Now that you know the history, it’s time for some fabulous recipes you can enjoy! We’re thinking this is perfect for any oldies soiree ( Swingers themed?) or for indulging in something OTHER than a mint julep for the horse races this season.
