The Aeromobil is the world’s first realistic flying car prototype.

I don’t know about you, but I have watched The Jetsons enough times to know that a flying car is definitely something I want in my future. Aeromobil, a Slovakia-based company has been working on this since 1989, and has finally come up with a pretty solid prototype.

The car can fly up to 124 mph, and can go 430 miles on a full tank of gas. It can also be filled up at any rando gas station, and can fit nicely in regular parking spots. It also gets 29 miles per gallon in normal driving mode, so whether you are zipping through the air, or trudging along a pothole-infested interstate in New Jersey, this car will do the trick.

The creators of Aeromobil envision it for use in underdeveloped countries in Africa or Asia, where there aren’t many roads, but I could also see a bunch of tech startup tycoons zipping around San Fran in one of these bad boys.

The moral of the story is, the future is here, and it won’t be long till we can get DUI’s in the air.
