Five Hottest Transgender Models From Around the World

Written by Gary

It’s a fact. Trannies are in. We here at TheLuxurySpot have been plugged into this for a while now, since we had tranny mermaids at a Fashion Week event we threw last year, but I hate to gloat. I know some people have a problem with the word tranny, but in this instance I am using it as a totes abbreve for the word transgender, so take your issues with diction elsewhere.

As the political climate of the world (and our ass-backwards country) shifts to a more liberal lean, transgender rights and issues are becoming much more of a hot topic. Transgender models have taken a front seat in this battle for equality, because their beauty is something undeniable, and easy to understand even for hillbillies who fuck their sisters. The movement of major companies using transgender models in their advertising is making great strides in regards to gender equality, and changing the conversation of what gender really is, and how it is understood.  To celebrate this shift I tracked down the five hottest transgender models from around the globe. Feel free to be a little understandably jealous and even confused.

You and your site are too smart to use bigoted language and fauxpologise for it with a sorry not sorry. It doesn’t make you hip or give you or your queers staff street cred. Let’s please remember that you gay staff writer is not the authority on the transgender experience any more then I am or you are or anyone who is not trans is. Queer and trans are not interchangeable so who is your gay, male writer to dismiss these women and refer to them in the most insulting way? From where does he derive this license? This privilege? I doubt that these women would give this man a “queer pass” and permit his slur. The notion that his gayness somehow makes mysogyny impossible is INSANE. Or worse, it indicates that he believes he is permitted this level of disrespect towards these women because they are “not really women,” in his mind they are men, just like him. This is clear cut misogyny veiled as clever catty queerness. You owe your mostly female readers more then a dismissive, offensive male voice who pretends to admire these women but only offers them up as a disrespected exotic attraction. I am not indicating that this article couldn’t have been wonderful– it could have, but it was not approached with any of the respect that any body deserves, especially one that has been sexualized, objectified, exotified before it is truly appreciated. The comments on the piece are already disgusting, no doubt a result of this tacit agreement between writer and reader that these women are freaks, beautiful perhaps, but not truly worthy of respect.
I urge you to do better on behalf of all women and to exerscize care when allowing a male voice to represent women’s interest.

  • furthermore…However, tranny might be considered an “acceptable slur”
amongst gay men when talking about each other, in this case it most
certainly is the equivalent of a Chinese person calling a black woman a
Nigger ( or Nigga). In case there is any confusion trans women are not
gay men in wigs– they are not drag queens, performers that you might
see on Drag Race. They are women. I doubt that the editor would allow a Palestinian
man to call Jewish women a ethnic slur on your site. This is not the
morality police- it is just an attempt to dispel some ignorance around
this new ( and seemingly easily commodified) hot topic. And an attempt
to clarify how this is not a sensitive issue, it is clear cut hate
speech. When people are more informed about transgender women they will
look back in horror at this nieve behavior. Trans women have hardly any
voice from which to educate an audience seemingly only interested in
their exotic bodies. Transphobia and violence is still a very terrible
reality for most women with a transgender experience. Allowing this perpetuation of hate speech
to continue on your forum is in fact condoning a violent perspective
that dismisses the humanity and rights of these women and reduces them
to dismiss able objects not worthy of actual respect. Lastly, please
educate yourself about the high rates of suicide and depression amongst
transgender women as well as the high rates of murder toward transgender women. It is a
society who regards them as freaks ( but also secretly fucks them) that
allows this voyerostic but dehumanizing behavior to continue.

    • Dear “Anonymous”,
Thank you for your comments. To address your accusations that I am just a gay man using the bigoted hate speech “slur” “tranny” I would cheerfully like to inform you that I got explicit permission from my best friend of 10 years, who is, in fact, a transgender woman. I am actually the first person who ever slapped a wig on her head, so if you think about it, I actually helped a transgender woman find her true identity, and have done a lot more for the transgender movement than sit at my computer at home getting angry about word usage.
Secondly, you can believe what you want, but I personally believe that most of our readers are smart enough to know that word usage is all about context. When writing satirical articles (as I often do) my purpose is to make people laugh and lighten their day. I don’t disparage transgender people at all, and in fact am helping to further the cause of equal rights by exposing these transgender models to thousands of readers who may not have been aware of them, or the transgender movement at large. So you can sit at home and be outraged at whatever words I use to make people laugh, but at the end of the day, writing these articles creates a more mainstream conversation for middle America to get used to the idea of transgender people in all walks of life, including modeling. So if you think for one second that a transgender person is going to read the article I just wrote and want to commit suicide instead of being uplifted that there are other successful people just like them out there in the world, then perhaps you should take some time to rethink the way you spend your time, and go out and advocate for these people instead of sitting on your computer anonymously posting about words. Words and hate speech only have power when people like you give them power. P.S. you should probably send an angry email to your mechanic, because I am sure he or she probably uses the word “tranny” all the time. Yes, I am smart enough to know that they are referring to a transmission, but again, it’s all in the context.
      Yours,
Gary Adrian Randall, the author and editor.

  • This article is a celebration of beauty. The author is up-front about the fact that he is using the term “tranny” as an abbreviation and not to demean the transgendered community. Let’s hope part II of this article showcases 10 more stunning models.

  • Gary might claim that he is using tranny as an abbreviation but that is a poor choice considering its a slur. Please see ” my best friend is black and he said I can call him Nigga” as a historically unacceptable yet similar argument. I am not accusing you, Gary of being hateful, I am simply stating that you and your editor should practice some social responsibility and not use a slur to describe a group of people who are still extreme marginalized and often subjected to violence. If you are so noble in your goal to introduce middle America(who, by the way you should also respect more by not painting “them” as some ignorant backwater people) to people they might not otherwise accept, I would suggest that you focus on trans women and their beauty or experience but skip the slurs; you wouldn’t want to confuse “middle America” if there is any question that ignorance or hatred still exists towards these women, please invite your tranny friend to read what some faggots(ok, right? I’m gay!) and niggers (i have black friends!)wrote about women like her in their comments on your editors page. something about “half women.” Sigh. Just because you can say something, doesn’t mean you should- especially without qualifying it beyond “this offends some people but whatevvvverrrr”
