This Game of Thrones Hair Tutorial Will Give You Good Feels

Written by Bryce

This is the Game of Thrones hair tutorial you’ve been looking for.

That’s a scientific fact, by the way. Because any other Game of Thrones hair tutorial you’ve seen is clearly not as day-to-night wearable as what we’re about to present, and all TV shows aside, you can file this look under good hair, don’t care. Try these braids after a Mother of Dragons bath bomb tonight and thank us later.

Look 1: House of Cersei

Cersei hair: you know you want it

  • Starting with dry hair, use the T3 Twirl Convertible to curl and give texture to the hair. Alternate directions (away from the face and towards the face) with each section of hair your curl. You can get an extra couple days out of your dirty hair with this style, too, but make sure to spritz it with a little DIY ocean hair spray (click for the recipe) to give your strands a little texture first.
  • Next, section the hair at the top to begin your two French braids. Create a part down the center of the top sectioned out area to set up to create two braids.

Step 1

Step 2

  • Once both French braids are completed, begin to twist the braids around three times and secure with a clear elastic. You can try these braids with cute bob hairstyles, too.
  • To finish, spritz hair texture spray or hairspray to hold.

Final step, House of Cersai galore!

Look 2: House of Khaleesi

Game of Thrones hair, Khaleesi

  • Starting with dry hair, use the T3 Twirl Convertible to add waves and additional texture.
  • Next, part hair down the center and on one side, begin an inverted French braid. Make sure to ONLY pull pieces from the top into the braid because we want enough hair on the bottom half to create another braid underneath it.

  • Continue braiding from the side until you have reached the back of the head. Clip it to the side of the head to secure.
  • Repeat the same braid on the other side of the head.
  • Once you have the two top side braids created, grab the first braid and conjoin the two together and clip to secure.
  • Next, you are going to create the same two braids underneath the top ones. Make sure to leave enough hair out at the bottom so it does not appear stringy.
  • Combine the bottom two braids once you reach the back of the head and continue braiding all of the way down.

  • Now you have three braids (2 on the top and one bigger one on the bottom. Grab all three braids and begin making one big braid.
  • Secure with an elastic and finish with hairspray
