We at TheLuxurySpot tend to embellish with over the top in every sense of the word… in every aspect of life. From our fashion choices right down to our ice cream fixins. When we (Matt) wanted a sweet treat, we began to scour the office kitchen only to begin experimenting…one thing led to another… we started experimenting….and needless to say, we whipped up something truly decadent. ** Expect the same euphoria as when building the perfect outfit. Sugar rush-here we come!
1 bowl Vanilla ice cream, softened. ( but you can use whatever flavor you have on hand.)
1/4 cup of chocolate chopped. We used Ghiradelli Toffee Interlude. Perfect blend of sweet & savory
1-2 Ritz Brown Sugar Cinnamon Crackers. These babies partner perfectly with the chocolate, to give light crunch, while then melting all buttery and soft-like in your mouth.
Now the fun begins: Just like an outfit, it is best to work in layers. Avoid any spoonful to lack in crunch-ified joy.
- Start with a scoop or two of ice cream.
- Top with chopped chocolate & 1 crumbled Ritz Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cracker.
- 1 more layer of ice cream on top. chocolate bits. Crumbled Ritz.
If you’re really feeling wild… or if Danielle has conveniently just baked a batch of brownies (Thanks, D!), garnish accordingly with a warm brownie square.
Lastly, make sure everyone else you’re with has followed appropriate instructions, and dig in. No spoons? Use more crackers and start scooping.
