Girl, it’s dry out there. You need to hydrate!

Written by Bryce

All the moisture, none of the itch.

In the depths of winter we have little choice but to try to hydrate every little morsel of our bodies. Our throats are dry, our skin is rough, and our hair is even full of static. What’s a girl to do? Hydrate every single step of the way, I say!

1. Start by shampooing less often. If you’re a shampoo-aholic you’re basically on the fast road to frizz, brittle ends, breakage, and generally dull-looking locks. Solution? Dry shampoo like Keratin Complex’s Lock Launder. It’ll give you an extra day or two of your blowout, a ton more time to be lazy, and just the right amount of lift without having to actually suds up.

2. Smooth lips, duh. Everyone’s used to carrying around a little lip balm, but why shouldn’t it be full of natural good stuff AND leave a healthy tint behind? I mean, this one’s a no brainer. Clarks Botanicals Lip Tint = Easiest. Makeup. Ever.

3. Before you even leave the shower, lay it on. Before you even step foot out of the shower and slather on your obvious moisturizers, you need to consider the less-obvious moisture-infused soap. I love bar soap, especially Sultana by LUSH. It’s full of creamy moisture, real fruit pieces, and beta carotene to keep your skin looking super fresh all winter.

4. A good, moisturizing razor. This one is brand new, but if you’re the type of gal who prides herself in smooth legs, check out the Schick Hydro Silk razor. It’s got something like a gazillion blades to get super close to the skin, but the perimeter of the blade itself it completely lined with some ultra-hydrating magic formula that I can’t even describe. Basically, if you forget moisturizer after using it, it’s not the end of the world.
