Green Your Routine: St. Pat’s is Your Excuse

Frankly, we don’t care what your excuse to green your routine is– but St. Patrick’s Day is less than 2 weeks away and that’s just as good excuse as any.

1. Safari green is where it’s at this season. You don’t have to go full on emerald to appreciate this trend– the slightly safari look is chicer than ever and you’ll be all set with just a tinge if that suits your fancy. Try beiges, greys, or blue tones with green undercurrents. They’re especially flattering on cool skintones. This sweater is by Massimo Dutti, available here.

2. Matcha mania. If you’ve ever traveled through Asia, matcha is nothing new to you. If you haven’t matcha is as revolutionary as any other food fad. It’s a powdered form of super potent green tea that’s used for its many health properties as well as a particularly delish flavor. If you’re not already an expert on the matcha subject, try getting your feet wet with a vanilla matcha varietal, available here.

3. Keep drinking, it’s good for you. Juice is trendier than a Kardashian, and much tastier. You can green your routine right up with a totally-chuggable and lightly sweet green juice made with good-for-you veggies like romaine, spinach, and cucumber. Blueprint uses black magic in their green juices, because they taste delish. Available at Whole Foods.

4. Can you even with these shoes? How cute are these, and how much cuter do you think they’ll look to you when you realize how totally affordable they are? Add a splash of Spring color to your blandest outfits with these stacked, chunky heels and instantly transform yourself from cold-weather-survivor to oh-hey-I’m-a-happy-human again. No guarantees of weather, but, your feet will feel all the light. Available at ShoeDazzle.

5. Dope on a rope. Just kidding. Sort of. The Body Shop just debuted a new line of hemp-infused goodies that’ll leave you high on post-shower happiness instead of THC. Also, your guests will get a kick out of seeing your dope on a rope. This soap is also legal in all 50 states, but unfortunately won’t treat any medical condition. Available here.

6. Protect yourself with green. Aren’t these shades everything? Garret Leight’s Kinney sunnies are possibly my favorite ever, and are normallly far beyond the $300 mark. Shopbop is running a sale (on just about everything, by the way) till March 8, 2015 as follows:

Save 15% with purchase over $250

Save 20% with purchase over $500

Save 25% with purchase over $1000
