Greige Neutrals, All Year Long

Written by Bryce

The soft, greige (greyish-beige) neutrals that are everywhere are the perfect shade to mix in with seasonal staples.

1. Roll Sleeve Knit Blazer. Pair it with shorts and wedges over a tee when it’s warm out, or over a black cashmere turtleneck with skinny black denim when you feel frostbitten. It’s soft, machine-washable, and under $40 here at Nordstrom.

2. Make a statement. With a chunky piece of fashion jewelry like this one by Baublebar. The metal is a sort of worn in steel with elements of silver and beige at play behind the chunky stones. Play up just about any simple top or dress in a cinch. Available here for $36.

3. Nail the look. Julep has a shade called “Alaina” that is the perfect shade of greige– just grey enough to stay on trend, and beige enough to feel elegant and neutral. Available here for $14 (consider pairing it with deep pink tones if you’re into nail art or using different shades on your toes).

4. Kick it up. Stuart Weitzman did it again– these strappy heels are beigey in low lighting, and sparkling silver with a dash of natural light. Pair them with a skater skirt and a crop top or a sophisticated blazer and wide leg pant look. Available here.

5. DIY greige-ing. The perfect shade of greige eyeshadow varies from person to person, but Smashbox’s Full Exposure Palette has all the shades of beige, grey, and silver your heart could ever desire to get the perfect look. Personally, I love a deep grey wet liner (just dab your angled liner brush in water before picking up the shadow), a medium beige lid, and a pale-medium grey eyelid crease. Available here.
