Health Spotting: Top 10 Remix Songs for Your Workout

Written by Ashley

Perk up your workout (and your boobs) with these remixed songs.

In the past couple of weeks, as I’ve laid my claim as a SoulCycle cult member that the majority of its effectiveness comes down to the upbeat, beat-heavy and oftentimes cheesey tunes. Well that, and thoughts of muffin top in skinny jeans from an overabundance of b-raw-nies (after all, looking svelte while wearing a chunky fall sweater is considered an art in most countries). But, when flying solo for a run, I’ve been diggin’ this mix (with my reasons noted, and beat per minute counts for serious ) from RunHundred.com to give me treadmill gusto when I don’t have a skinny little man that looks like Robyn yelling at me to “WERQ.”

  1. Snoop Dogg & David Guetta – Sweat (Remix): because Snoop is the skinniest person alive, even though every time I watched his long gone reality show, he was eating chicken and waffles. (131 BPM)
  2. LMFAO, GoonRock & Lauren Bennett – Party Rock Anthem (Russ Chimes Remix): because  I’m better as partying when I look GOOD partying (129 BPM)
  3. Katy Perry – E.T. (Benny Benassi Remix): because even thought I hate the original song, everything remixed Benny Benassi is worth bopping to (136 BPM)
  4. Tiesto, Diplo & Busta Rhymes – C’mon (Catch ‘Em By Surprise): because Busta’s STILL GOT IT (130 BPM)
  5. Flo Rida & David Guetta – Club Can’t Handle Me Right Now (Manufactured Superstars Remix): because da club won’t be able to handle me once my skinny midriff is all out and stuff (lets pray my boobs stay big?)  (128 BPM)
  6. Pitbull & T-Pain – Hey Baby (Sidney Samson Remix): because T-Pain in my ear makes me want to run. Far.  (128 BPM)
  7. OneRepublic – All The Right Moves (Fred Falke Remix): because having all the right workout moves leads to all the right sexy-time moves. (127 BPM)
  8. Black Eyed Peas – Rock That Body (Chris Lake Remix): because Fergie and her freak-of-nature abs are inspiration enough (127 BPM)
  9. Far East Movement, Cataracs & Dev – Like A G6 (DJ Solarz Remix): because working out to this son, in addition to sipping (sugar-free) sizzurp will make you feel fly. Like, well, a G6.  (129 BPM)
  10. Lady GaGa – Born This Way (Dada Life Remix): because being born with baby fat gives no excuse to still having baby fat at age 25.  (128 BPM)

Cop the entire sweat-worthy 30 minute mix & hear tid-bits of each song on RunHundred.com.
