How to Properly Eat Sushi

Written by Bryce

It’s come to my attention lately that a lot of people just have no idea how to eat sushi.  This is a topic that I hold pretty close to my heart, especially considering that one the the star employees here at The Luxury Spot is Japanese, and we even have a Japanese version of our site now!

So let’s remember to not drown our fish in puddles of soy sauce, use our fingers (it’s OK!), and don’t be a jackass- WASABI IS NEVER MEANT TO BE MIXED INTO YOUR SOY SAUCE!

  • Thanks so much for this. I had most of it right but now feel a little foolish that I do mix my wasabi, I like thinks spicy. However, how do you add it to the susi? between the fish and rice? what about sashimi? THanks.
