Due to a legal loophole, Ireland has accidentally legalized meth, ecstasy, ketamine, and many other drugs for one day.

It’s a good time to be Irish if you have ever wanted to .  A recent legal snafu has technically made it legal to do a bunch of different drugs including ecstasy, crystal meth, and ketamine. The issue is that the Irish Misuse of Drugs Act from 1977 was found unconstitutional by the Irish Court of Appeal this morning, which means that all the drugs prohibited within the act are now legal.

The Irish government is whipping up some legislation to fix the problem, but laws take at least a day to become legally enforced after they are signed into law, meaning that these drugs will remain legal in Ireland until 12 Am Thursday at the earliest.

So technically right now, it isn’t illegal to do ecstasy, meth, or special K in Ireland.
