Jacqueline Laurita Talks Hot Mom Beauty Picks with Me

Written by Bryce

Jacqueline Laurita sat down to chat hot mom beauty picks, boobs, and parenting with me on the BestProducts.com couch.

If you tuned into today’s Facebook Live at BestProducts, you know that Jacqueline Laurita is obsessed with her beauty routine — and that includes her very special wear ’em all the time boobs (seriously). We also covered a lot of other mom beauty topics, so in the interest of saving you time, I listed just about every essential we talked about today. You’re welcome.

Mom talk gets pretty real, also, Jacqueline Laurita is the cutest, isn’t she?

If you’re wondering, they’re wonderful — and they’re not silicone. They’re a type of implant that’s relatively new to the market. The Ideal Implant feels like silicone (you know, like a real squishy-ish boob), but without some of the potential silicone risks thanks to a protected saline filling. You can read more about how the Ideal Implant works here, and while you’re at it, check out these breast implant facts before you take the plung(ing neckline) and make any *big* decisions.

Shapewear (because sucking it all in is a beautiful thing)

Anyone over the age of 19 who isn’t a yoga or fitness nut probably could stand to look slightly better with the posture-improving qualities of some shapewear, especially if it’s as easy as just wearing regular clothes. On a personal note, I’ve had 4 kids and Jacqueline is also no stranger to motherhood, so the idea of working shapewear into your wardrobe seamlessly is basically all the American dreams rolled into one.

Me in the Yummie bootcut jeans, available here (adorable 4 year old daughter not included)

I personally wore these bootcut Yummie by Heather Thompson jeans on set today because they come with light built in control panels which are perfect if you need just a slight tuck and compression. You can’t visually see a difference between these jeans and typical premium denim, but you can feel and notice the difference in the mirror. The ex-boyfriend jean is also a great choice because it’s literally the only slimming boyfriend jean I’ve ever seen of or heard, making me wonder they were created by actual fashion angels.

Hair, hair, hair

If you live anywhere east of the Mississippi, humidity is a real concern for hair, and that goes for just about everyone of every age with active follicles. Mom beauty demands limited products, time, and effort, which is exactly why the new Ouidad Advanced Climate Control line is ridiculously great. If you’re open to swapping out your shampoo and condition for humid months, the combo will coat hair with a light protective film that you won’t be able to see or feel, but will definitely give the cold shoulder to gross humidity. Bye, frizz. If you’re only looking to add a styler, the Humidity Gel can be worked into wet or dry hair, pre blowout or at the end of styling, and it’ll change your hot weather date night game forever.

But you know what’s really important? Good hair tools, because you can fight all the frizz you want, but if your waves aren’t just right, what’s even the point? (File under: first world problems, but still). We’re currently loving the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand. Why? Because you use one base to clip on various sizes and styles of curling wand attachments, it’s the highest quality you can get (hello, so important if you color your hair or process it all all), and is easy to travel with. You don’t want your hair tools to stand in the way of your vacation potential, do you?

T3 Whirl Trio

If you’re looking for the best-kept hair secret of all time, I’m going to let you in on a little secret — air drying your hair with a good product and then touching your soft locks up with a curling wand is basically all you need to survive as the naturally glam human you were meant to be. Leonor Greyl Crème De Soin À L’amarante is a softening conditioner that detangles and infuses the antioxidant-rich powers of amaranth and natural oils to protect strands. I like to leave a pea to dime size amount in the ends of my hair, air dry, and then use the curling wands to style. Voila!

Easy, peasy makeup

IT Cosmetics Confidence in Your Glow

Late nights and stress will wash you out in a heartbeat, but there’s generally no time to do LOTS of intense makeup work if you have little ones running around your house with finger paints and soccer practice gear. We’re currently obsessing over the new IT Cosmetics Confidence in Your Glow because it’s an all in one bronzer, blush, highlighter, and DIY contour in a single product. It’s also incredibly easy to use, so even if you’re “bad at makeup” you’ll be good at this. It comes in a few different shades so you can pick warmer or cooler tones based on your own coloring. Before you know it you’ll be on Instagram uploading your makeup hacks with “yasss kween” and other such verbiage. I’m not alone in the love for IT Cosmetics either, because Jacqueline Laurita apparently swears by their serum CC line, Confidence in a Compact, as well (and if you haven’t tried that, you need to).

Jacqueline Laurita is a cool mom, obvi.

Skincare

Time ran short on our Facebook live, but off the air Jacqueline and me were excited to talk about our skincare routines and a mutual love of foamy cleansers. Personally I’m living for this Golden Door Soothing Cleansing Foam because it evens my skin tone and cleanses without leaving me as dry as a piece of cardboard (amen!).
