Rather than venture out into the cold, wind and rain, one night my sister-in-law, and my sister and I decided to stay in, dress “come as you are” casual, drink a little wine and try an assortment of some absolutely fabulous winter beauty products.
Sort of an adult sleepover… without the pillow fight.
First item we tried was Navajo hand and body lotion. With the fear of swine flu we’d all been washing our hands enough times to border on OCD and despite constantly using hand cream, it showed. So we were a bit skeptical when we gave the Navajo lotion a try. WOW! Were we impressed. We put the lotion only on one hand and the difference between the hands we put it on and the other hand was truly noticeable. A definite thumbs up!
Next was Vivo Natural Products bar soap green tea with mint. We all loved this, but my sister fell in love with the clean fresh scent.
Next was a product I never used—a serum. My usual skin care routine has never been much more than cleanser and moisturizer. My sister said serums—if they’re high quality– are awesome and the results are way more dramatic than just moisturizer. We tried Hyalis Serum and she was right! The skin around my eyes instantly looked tighter, younger and refreshed. You only use a little for visible results.
And lastly dessert, two no-calorie treats from Sumbody called milky rich body butter and butters with benefits. Talk about a yummy way to end the night. We slathered this stuff on and not only did it moisturize it smelled like cupcakes!
Ok, then we had a pillow fight. 😉
